my husband is a wordpress code monkey. He just finished a project for another lady, updating one of her blogs. You should ask him for help. He charges the other lady because she is a semi-professional blogger and it took him a few hours to do what she wanted. But he usually gives advice for free. One thing I know is that he hates blogger. He likes wordpress. You should email him. He would probably give you his real gmial address so you could chat about it online. cutest blog on the block dot com has some super cute backgrounds and you don't have to mess with wiget changes and such.

hope this helps. Pyzam is one website you can go to but it'll erase all your wigets and sidebar. I recommend Cutest if she has a style you like. Oh and she has free ones, mine is one of the free ones.
